This embroidery on vintage Japanese silk is a little garden of stitches in wool and silk threads, and turquoise beads. I enjoy working on found fabric like this silk because it provides endless inspiration. Also, it is part of my mission to live as sustainably as possible.

The sustainably-sourced bamboo hoop has been painted deep brown to match the fabric.
